HotelsI have worked in Shanghai for over 6 years as a guide and can recommend the following hotels
5 Star Hotels 1. The Radisson Blue Hotel Shanghai New World Although there are many 5 star hotels in Shanghai, I recommend this one because the staff speaks good English and are very responsive to client needs and are able to ensure that your stay is an enjoyable one. The hotel is located on Nanjing road close to Peoples square and metro lines 1, 2 and 8. so you have the best location and transportation. 2. Pullman Shanghai Skyway This hotel is located in the Tianzifang area of the French Concession of Shanghai. A street known for trendy shops, art galleries and small eateries for that quiet snack, after shopping. 4 Star Hotels 1. The Bund Riverside Hotel Located with in walking distance of East Nanjing Road and Suzhou Creek, this hotel is ell placed for accessing the heart of Shanghai. 2. The Salvo Hotel Located close to the bund area and the Old Town. Located within a short of walk of People’s Square and East Nanjing road pedestrian street. 3 Star Hotels 1. The Charms Hotel This hotel is always busy as the hotel is located in the heart of Downtown and in just a few steps; you’re on East Nanjing Road ready for shopping or dining adventure. 2. The Pacific Hotel Located on West Nanjing Road, this hotel is ideally situated for easy access to Shopping on West Nanjing Road, the east Nanjing road Pedestrian street and of course, People’s Square. BarsA trip to Shanghai is not complete unless you visit one or more of the many bars where drinks are cold and the people are friendly. Bars range from quiet Jazz to hot, swinging dance clubs. There are so many that I cannot list them all but the best are found in the French Concession on these streets The Xintiandi along Hengshan road, The 101 Foreign street on Hongmei road |
